Quality Service Awards
Today, the City of Odessa held a special awards ceremony for some of its outstanding employees.
The Odessa Police Department had three employees awarded the Quality Service Award. They included Crime Scene Unit Technician Stacy Cannady, Animal Control Officer Ray Coleman, and Animal Shelter Manager Kelley Hendricks.
“Crime Scene Unit Technician, Stacy Cannady, has been instrumental in helping to solve several crimes that had occurred within the city limits of Odessa, that basically, had it not been for her thorough and dedicated persistence, these cases would probably be unsolved.” – Sergeant Scottie Smith
“In the field, Ray demonstrates professional attitudes and cooperation when dealing with the public and co-workers. He demonstrates to both Shelter and Field a steady day-in/day-out production of work that far exceeds the average employee, working in the field and Shelter sometimes simultaneously to ensure a steady production.” – Animal Shelter Manager, Kelley Hendricks
“She has knocked the ball out of the park quickly, creating criteria that allow the City's Shelter to avoid overcrowding and reduce the chances of disease outbreaks. Furthermore, her protocol has fostered cooperation between rescue organizations and volunteers, leading to the successful rehoming of dogs and cats. Manager Hendricks is a hard worker and is passionate about her profession, which has led to these fantastic achievements.” – Captain Jerry Harvell
We are so PROUD of these employees and their outstanding performance on duty!
