Meet one of our hardworking interns, Mark Besares!
He has been an intern with the OPD for quite some time now and will soon be one of our recruits for our upcoming Police Academy!
He was born and raised here in Odessa. He wants to become a police officer because he grew up surrounded by law enforcement with his oldest brother being a correctional officer, and his mother was a bail bondsman.
Mark’s goal while working for the Odessa Police Department is to work with our wonderful K-9 Unit or become a detective!
