Today, six new billboards went up around the Odessa/Midland area working to raise awareness regarding fentanyl overdoses.

Barbara Johnson, with Lamar Advertising, saw OPD's posting on Facebook about fentanyl overdoses on the rise. She has kids and grandkids. Barbara says seeing that was scary, and she wanted to do her part to make a difference.
Our officers work hard to fight the narcotics problem and crime. However, it takes ALL OF US in our community working together to teach our kids to say "NO TO DRUGS."
