The Odessa Police Department is still accepting qualified applicants for the 27th Session of the OPD Citizens Police Academy. The twelve week academy begins Thursday, September 2, 2021 and will be held on Thursday nights from 6-9pm.
The program is designed to give the public a working knowledge of the Odessa Police Department. The instruction is comprehensive and covers different divisions each week. There are no fees for the classes.
Registration forms are available online at www.odessapd.com and may be emailed to lpittman@odessa-tx.gov or may be submitted in person at the Odessa Police Department. The registration deadline is Friday, August 27, 2021 at 5 p.m. or until the session has been filled.
