New Traffic Alert for May 11, 2021

UPDATE: The City of Odessa and a Approved Contractor will be removing and replacing an existing water main line in the alley between University Blvd and Harris Ave.  Security Ave. will be closed to cross water main.  Road closure will begin on May 11, 2021 and will remain in place until May 28, 2021.


Parker Drive, between Walnut and Maple, will be closed on Monday, April 12 and will be closed for up to 2 weeks. This is to remove and replace a City water main line.

 8th St., between W. Loop 338 and Coronado Ave., will have a right-hand lane closed for eastbound traffic on Monday, April 12. Atmos will be replacing a gas main. This closure could last up to 4 weeks.

 Golder Ave., between 42nd and 38th , will have both southbound lanes closed. There will be a detour from 40th to 38th, and a left-hand lane closure for northbound traffic. This is due to water service installation. The closure will begin Saturday, April 10 and should be completed by Sunday, April 11. Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.
