The City is looking to lower the speed limit on University Ave from County Road West to Loop 338.
Many in our community have had difficulty navigating traffic at this location due to traffic increases during school pick-up and drop-off.
Many parents find it difficult to make a right-hand turn. This City is working hard to find a solution to the problem.

Tucker, Director of Public Works, shared that the process has started on trying to reduce the speed.
"This area is also TxDOT's, so we have to work together and get a traffic study done and come to an agreement together."
The next step is doing the traffic study and presenting the information to council.
