More information regarding a deadly crash.
Here’s a look at 43-year-old Gerad Sandate of Odessa. Early this evening, we told you about that deadly crash on US 385 and FM 1787 on Wednesday.
The preliminary information released by DPS shows that the driver of the Mitsubishi Outlander disregarded a red light and struck a Nissan Frontier. The driver was identified as Sandate. DPS says he fled the scene on foot and was later caught in the 400 block of East Sundown.
Jail records show Sandate was booked into the Ector
County jail and charged with three counts of intoxication manslaughter, accident involving death, and driving while intoxicated.
