Once upon a time in Odessa, a woman named Marsha Barreraz owned a fitness facility called Cuts N’ Cardio. Marsha was known not only for her fitness classes but also for her talent in choreography and coordinating special events like Quinceañeras, Sweet 16 parties, and weddings. She had a true passion for dance, despite not having any formal background in it. The joy of creating dances and organizing memorable events for the community filled her heart.
“It’s a privilege to make young girls feel like princesses for an evening they would never forget.”
Marsha's journey to success wasn't without its challenges. She opened her business in 2009, and just two years later, she went through a divorce, becoming a single mother of five children. Juggling the responsibilities of being a business owner and a mom was no easy task, but Marsha always made sure to put her family first.
Another challenging time for Marsha was when the Coronavirus hit. Despite facing setbacks during the COVID-19 pandemic, Marsha managed to survive through her savings and the power of prayer.
Marsha's love for her community in Odessa was evident in her work. She cherished the tight-knit nature of the city and valued the support she received from its people. Through her dedication to fitness, dance, and event coordination, Marsha found her true calling.
And so, Marsha Barreraz continued to create magical nights for teens, newlyweds, and families, spreading joy and celebration through the power of dance. Her story became an inspiration for all those who wished to follow their passions and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
She wanted to give a special THANK YOU to Terry Anaya with ATA Promotions for submitting the story idea! She’s a great friend and her Social Media Manager.
