Adinvita opened its doors five years ago, and our community has embraced it. The private school wanted to create a unique environment built on creativity and innovation for students. The growth has been tremendous. Next year, the so-called “School of Design” will move into a bigger and better place at West University. That expansion includes a playground, basketball courts, and a garden.
We also wanted to introduce you to some of those behind Adinvita. Linda Subia is a Co-Director and the Principal. Teaching is in her genes. The Odessa native comes from a family of teachers and felt that education was her calling.
Also, meet Amanda Tijerina, a Co-Director and teacher there. She started tutoring kids when she was in high school. Before teaching, she also worked as a counselor for students with disabilities. “These kids are our future, and they need me,” said Amanda.
Adinvita will move from 619 N. Grant to 6464 W. University. School officials say they wanted to move out west to build the community up in that area. The school takes students as young as three and goes through 8th grade.
