A large group of youngsters are working to “Keep Odessa Beautiful” today. It’s part of a FREE summer camp put on by Shawn Carrasco aka Da Gorilla.
The Odessa father of two gave up an accomplished career in the oilfield industry to pursue this mission.
“I
answered God’s calling,” said Carrasco.
His motto: Honor God - Honor Family - Honor our Community.
This camp runs all summer Monday through Friday. Again, it’s free and all kids are fed lunch everyday. To do this, donations are made.
