Matthew Christman:”Nancy and Mariana help keep our department operating day in day out! They provide great customer service to our citizens when they come in with questions or to rent a Community Center or Pavilion! They are a vital part of our department and I would say they are the face of our department since they have direct contact with our citizens! Happy Administrative Assistants Day!”

The staff here at the Permian Basin MPO would like to honor our admin, Janna Dean:
Janna Dean helps the Permian Basin MPO manage its fiscal reporting to TxDOT to ensure a smooth transition of city financial records to state and federal agencies.  
She also attends Board meetings and completes a set of minutes following each public meeting. Her coworkers are highly appreciative of all the important roles that she performs at the MPO agency that help us run smoothly.”

Odessa Police Chief Mike Gerke:”When you think about Police Departments you usually think about Patrolmen and K-9s and Detectives, but the dedication and professionalism  displayed by the administrative staff of the Odessa Police Department make them our unsung heroes. I personally appreciate everyone of them and know that we could not perform our duties without them”

Joyce Rudd, Dispatcher:”Angie Warden, you will never find her without a smile.  She is funny, always asks everyone how they are doing and makes people feel welcome  in dispatch.  Angie is just a pleasure to be around!”

“I don’t care what anyone else says. Crystal Blevins (soon to be Taylor as of May 20th) is the best Admin in existence.The role she plays goes far beyond the position. She is our moral booster. Our supportive foundation. Our cheerleader. Our motivational engine. Our energy builder. Our friend.She makes a department full of nerds feel cool. She brings out the shine in our introverts. She helps bridge the gap between frustrating hard work, and fulfillment.She provides critical opinions and insights validated by previous experiences. She brings creativity to our office, and life to our dying plants.She is absolutely irreplaceable.”

Scott Anderson, Building Services Director:”Happy National Administrative Professionals Day!  Melissa has worked with the City of Odesa for 26 years.  She has served as the as the Building Services Sr. Admin Professional for the past six years. 
Melissa’s dedication to the department/organization is outstanding.  Melissa is always willing to help our internal and external customers with any needs that come her way.  From the Building Services Department, thank you for your service.”

Slyvia Kaur, Payroll Assistant:  “I would like to recognize Michelle Bara.  She is the backbone of our finance department!  
She is always going out of her way to help anyone.   From scheduling meetings to putting together birthdays to putting together our lunches for special occasions.  She is funny and hardworking.”
