On February 18, 2021 at approximately 2220 hrs, Odessa Police Department officers responded to the area of the 300 block of Ellis Dr. in reference to a stolen vehicle that was occupied by a male subject. Officers made contact with the vehicle, which resulted in them firing shots at the subject. The subject was transported to Medical Center Hospital. All officers involved were not injured, and were placed on Administrative Leave. This investigation was turned over to the Texas Rangers.
