Odessa City Council discusses plastic bag problem and possible solutions.
The name of the nonprofit says it all, the mission is to "Keep Odessa Beautiful!" However, it seems everywhere you turn, there are plastic bags all over Odessa and West Texas.
Today, the Odessa City Council heard from KOB Executive Director Claudia Ortega. The group works to educate people on taking pride in our community and works hard to be part of the solution.
Mayor Javier Joven and Odessa City Council are hoping to work with lawmakers in the future to develop wording that could allow them to take more action.
Bottom line, pick up TRASH and do what YOU can to make Odessa a better place!
