24th Academy Graduates

Deputy James H. Chilcoat: Deputy Chilcoat is 28 years of age and was born and raised in Midland, Texas. He graduated from Midland High School in Midland, Texas. Deputy Chilcoat began his career with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office on August 30, 2013, and is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. His hobbies are hunting and fishing with his boys. Deputy Chilcoat’s goals with the Midland County Sheriff’s Department is to rank up and retire from the department. He is the father to Jesus, James, and Margret Chilcoat. Deputy Chilcoat’s wife, Ana, will be pinning on his badge.

Officer Kimberlee Nicole Lujan: Officer Lujan is 26 years of age and was born in San Angelo, Texas and raised in Fort Stockton, Texas. She graduated from Fort Stockton High School in Fort Stockton, Texas. Officer Lujan began her career with the Odessa Police Department on September 20, 2021, and is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. Her hobbies are fishing and hunting. Officer Lujan’s goal with the department is to become a detective for Crimes Against Persons. Officer Lujan’s parents, Hugo and Norma Lujan, will be pinning on her badge.

Officer Andres Macias: Officer Macias is 22 years of age. He was born in Alpine, Texas and raised in Odessa, Texas. Officer Macias graduated from Odessa High School. He began his career with the Odessa Police Department on January 18, 2022, and is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. Officer Macias’ hobby is spending time with family outdoors. Officer Macias’ goal with the department is to better himself every day and provide good public service. Officer Macias’ father, Raul Macias, will be pinning on his badge.

Officer Ramon Castillo Ochoa: Officer Ochoa is 28 years of age and was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Odessa High School in Odessa, Texas. Officer Ochoa began his career with the Odessa Police Department on January 3, 2022. He is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. His hobbies are watching football, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. He also enjoys watching his daughter’s soccer games and watching them grow as players. Officer Ochoa’s favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys.

Deputy Esmeralda Raimi: Deputy Raimi is 22 years of age and was born and raised in Midland, Texas. Deputy Raimi graduated from Viola M. Coleman High School in Midland, Texas. She began her career with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office on March 20, 2021, and is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. Deputy Raimi has a n Associates of Applied Science in Law Enforcement. She has prior law enforcement experience as a Bonding/Booking Clerk at the Midland County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Raimi’s hobby is going to the gym. Her goal with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office is to join the SWAT Team and become a Persons Crime Detective. Deputy Raimi’s mother, Patricia Monje Dominguez, will be pinning on her badge.

Investigator Nathan Sanchez: Investigator Sanchez is 28 years of age, was born and raised in Odessa, Texas where he graduated from Odessa High School. He began his career with the Odessa Fire Marshal’s Office on November 2, 2020, and is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. He has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. Investigator Sanchez is the father of Hallie Renee Sanchez. His hobbies are hunting, going to drag races, and working out at the gym. Investigator Sanchez’ goal with the Fire Marshal’s Office is to provide excellence and great connections with our community. Investigator Sanchez’ Fiancée, Sammie Marr, will be pinning on his badge.

Officer Eric Jonathan Sullivan: Officer Sullivan is 21 years of age, born and raised in Odessa, Texas and was homeschooled by his parents. He began his career with the Odessa Police Department on August 17, 2020, and is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. Officer Sullivan’s hobby is gaming. His goal with the department is to promote to the rank of Corporal, instruct, and become part of the SWAT Team. Officer Sullivan’s father, Jason Sullivan, will be pinning on his badge.

Officer Robert Torres, Jr.: Officer Torres is 21 years of age, was born and raised in El Monte, California, where he graduated from South Hills High School. He began his career with the Odessa Police Department on January 18, 2022, and is a graduate of the 24th session of the Odessa Police Academy. Officer Torres’ experience in law enforcement was as a Police Cadet at the Glendora Police Department in California. Officer Torres’ hobby is shooting. His goal is to be a great officer for the Odessa Police Department. Officer Torres’ mother and father, Alicia and Robert Torres Sr., will be pinning on his badge.
