August 31st marks the 3rd anniversary of the mass shooting that shook our community. Chief Michael Gerke, along with officers from the Odessa Police Department, will be attending a special community-wide remembrance that will be held at UT Permian Basin. We hope you will join us as well.
The event will take place at the site where the "Bright Star Memorial" will be built to honor those who were lost or impacted. The community is asked to wear yellow on this day and dedicate some time to engage in community service or random acts of kindness.
