We continue to introduce you to recruits in OPD's 25th Session Academy. Today, meet Bailey Martin.
He was born and raised right here in Odessa. Even at a young age, he knew he wanted a career in law enforcement.
"I wanted to join because the world we live in is always changing and I wanted to do everything I can to be part of my community as it grows, allowing me to preserve the peace and safety," said Martin.
He hopes to become a detective at the Odessa Police Department.
