More information today on that major crash we alerted you about last night on our Odessa Police Department App and social media. The accident happened on 8-15-2022 at 9:35 pm at the intersection of West University and W County Road.
The driver of a Toyota RAV4 was traveling northbound in the left turn lane on the 2600 block of North County Road West. The driver of the Honda Accord was traveling southbound
in the inside lane on the 2700 block of North County Road West. The evidence revealed that the Toyota RAV4 failed to yield the right of way.
The driver of the Honda Accord was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The three children were taken to Lubbock in critical condition.
The investigation continues.
